Overview

I was invited by Rivian to get an exclusive preview of their upcoming R3 vehicle model. They hosted a fun outdoor event with professional BMX bikers performing tricks over their car.

I took images for their social media with the purpose to help promote their event and encourage consumers to sign up for their future events. It was a pleasure to work with Rivian and document their upcoming R3 car model — their events cater to the young Austinites, bringing great brand awareness.

Shooting a moving subject against a static product meant timing mattered more than setup — most of the keepers came from bursts, not staged shots.

The goal was less a car reveal and more a day out — leaning into the BMX riders and the crowd energy so the R3 reads as part of a scene, not a studio backdrop.
